The lack of enough Northern Ireland politicians on the new EU-UK Parliamentary Partnership Assembly is an issue of “serious concern”. That’s according to Fine Gael MEP Colm Markey. The Assembly was set up following the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement. It acts as a forum for the European and UK Parliaments to exchange views on EU-UK relations.  But Colm Markey, who is a member of the Assembly, says it doesn’t have enough representatives from Northern Ireland.
