As the clock ticks towards Britain’s exit from the European Union, attention remains focussed on the British Prime Minister’s efforts to secure cabinet and parliamentary support for her Brexit plan.
Intensive efforts are continuing between British and European negotiators to strike a deal on a Withdrawal Agreement.
Britain’s ability to exit any proposed backstop is a key area yet to be agreed between the parties to the talks.
Agreement has to be reached this week, if a November summit of EU leaders is to be convened to approve any deal.
