On Tuesday February 4, Trey and Stephanie talked with regular guests Shaun and Jessica McAfee about parenting multiple children, and specifically strangers’ less-than-kind comments toward them about their large family. Their discussion stemmed from an article titled 9 Things Parents Never Want to Hear from Strangers Again, (full article here). The Cashions and McAfees talked about each of the nine points in the article, and about how Catholics can respond kindly toward peoples’ insensitive or secular comments, always pointing back to the fact that a large family is a blessing from God, not a burden. It’s not always easy or pretty, but ultimately it is a blessing to have multiple children. Remember to pray, parent with a purpose, and prepare for God to amaze you, and He will!
