Supergroup Parameters & Rules:
- Players draft as if they're living in the year of 1989, during the height Hair Metal era. (i.e 1980 - 1993 ish) Bands and musicians must had been alive in 1989, and relevant & active in this era. (I.E. Sorry, no Randy Rhoads).
- Each player is a super producer or music manager mogle, with the power to hand pick a superband for a one off concert or summer tour, for charity or special event and record 1 album.
- Each player will pick 1 Lead Singer, 2 Guitar players, 1 bass player, and 1 drummer (5 member band). In the spirit of the drafting a diverse supergroup band, players cannot draft rock stars that have been in long term bands together. Example, If you pick Eddie Van Halen, you cannot pick Dave or Sammy as the singer, or Michael and Alex. Axl cannot play with Slash, etc.
- Players will pick their 5 band members in an NFL Fantasy Football style Snake Draft. There will be 5 regular rounds to pick your band members, with one last, 6th round Wild Card pick. The pick order was random, and confirmed by our draft commissioner Kyle.
- The Wild Card Round! The Wild Card spot pick has to be a 1989 era notable non rock star celebrity that would be part of the bands entourage and help promote and or support this superband's endeavors. The Wild Card pick can be a famous actor, host, sports star, video vixen, comedian of that era.
