Day 117: 1st Chronicles 6

Today on Meditating the Word, we review the decscendants of Levi, the musicians appointed by David and the settlements of the Levites.

This is Day 117. Today we are reading from the 1st Book of Chronicles, Chapter 6

Father God, As we read about the cities and pasture lands that were given to the Levites, we are reminded that out of all the tribes of the Children of Israel, they were the only ones who didn't inherit land to work and develop and inhabit. Because their work, was to serve you. You were their inheritance. Your Word says that we are priests and kings. And like the Levites, our work is to serve you. You are our inheritance. You are our portion. May we always remember that you are more than enough. Amen
