Follow us on Social Media @OutWithJoe and listen Saturday and Sunday mornings on WCRN 830 AM By Tina Marie Billing What a fun Friday night at Jasper Hill in Millis for BJ Magoon and Driving Sideways! BJ and his band play a nice variety of music from Blues, Root and Rock to Americana, Soul and Country. They play a little something for everyone including originals. They present a solid sound and the music flows easily from these seasoned professionals. The music room was full but even the diners from the other parts of the restaurant were coming in and dancing! They engaged the audience with stories of their years together and truly entertained the room! It was a delicious blend of shrimp, calamari and scallops in sinful Parmesan cheese sauce with fresh broccolini and sun dried tomatoes cut into smaller pieces as not to distract from the seafood but to compliment the flavors of the dish. I accompanied that with a couple glasses of J Lohr Chardonnay. Chef Nick likes to think outside of the box when it comes to his dishes. He does do classics well but likes to put his own spin on things. He uses fresh ingredients and makes specials that delight the palate! He is a fairly new Chef and is a welcomed addition to the staff. So if you are looking for a night of Music accompanied by a good meal in a beautifully refurbished Victorian mansion, look no further than Jasper Hill in Millis! The owners Denise and John Tracy love live music and get the best bands around. They have a combined 50 years in the food service business and care about their guests.
