In addition to his work at Volt, Dan taught Sport Performance at the University of Washington in the Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership (IAL) masters program for five years, He holds a Masters degree in Sport Administration and Leadership (MSAL) from Seattle University and is both a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Dan is also a Founding Member of the Rolling Stone Culture Council and a mentor in the University of Washington Men's Basketball program.
