Market Close 9 Jun 20: Banks help lift the ASX 200 to best close in 3 months

The ASX 200 has had its best day in 2 weeks with a 2.45% rally as banks did much of the heavy lifting. The index closed at the best levels in three months as global optimism helps drive equity markets higher. Gains could have been more substantial if it wasn’t for losses among, healthcare, tech and gold miners.
