Morning Report 28 Jun 21: US sharemarkets were mixed on Friday

Shares in Nike rose 15.5% after it forecast full-year sales above forecasts. Financials rose 1.3% after the Federal Reserve reported bank stress test results. But shares in FedEx fell 3.6% after disappointing with earnings forecasts. The Dow Jones index rose by 237 points or 0.7%. The S&P 500 index rose by 0.3% to a record high. But the Nasdaq index fell by 9 points or 0.1% from record highs. Over the week, the Dow rose by 3.4%; the S&P 500 rose by 2.7%; and the Nasdaq rose by 2.4%.
