In this installment we move from Acts 17 and begin to dig into the events of Exodus 32. I'll propose that one of the main issues of idolatry within the golden calf incident was that it was used to ascribe worship to Yahweh. We'll begin to explain the purpose of the title, as it is no coincidence that the people "broke off their earrings" in order to fashion the carved image.
