Abusive step-father

Partner got a government house to get out and smoke drugs
Fell in with a crowd taking drugs
Not working, getting into drug dealing, harder drugs
NO one lives in the moment like a heroin addict living in the streets
At 27 in jail

After jail tried to limit his drug consumption
Couch surfing
Partner had found Christ
Friend Ian
People in that lifestyle don’t know that you can live differently
Ian read philosophy
Friendship
Community College
Apprenticeship
Got clean, methadone
Stage 4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma
Went into ICU, wasn't going to live
Cancer was a walk in the park compared to getting off heroin
Support from a catholic charity
Had to get on opiates to fight cancer
Had to get back on methadone
Would have to take 3 months off
Save up enough money and holidays to take 3 months off
Work caulking
Looking into Christianity because of the Jordan Peterson bible lectures
Told he couldn't have kids
Started going to church
Started to pray
