Mid-Session 29 July 19: Shares advance early as tech lead gains

The local sharemarket has kicked off the new trading week in positive territory. The ASX 200 is back above 6800 and edging towards a record high with gains rather broad based. The tech, communications and healthcare sectors have been the most improved so far.
