Cohost conversation: Using kindness and the norms of collaboration to survive the holidays

For this special holiday cohost conversation in 2023, Relentlessly Resilient hosts Jennie Taylor and Michelle Scharf discuss how to tackle holiday hosting with kindness for others and yourself. Using the principles found in the book “One People One Planet: 6 Universal Truths for Being Happy Together,” they discuss setting aside grievances, the Seven Norms of Collaborative Work, and presuming positive intentions in others.

Hosts Jennie Taylor and Michelle Scharf are no strangers to overcoming adversity; Michelle lost her husband to cancer, while Jennie’s husband, Major Brent Taylor, was killed in the service of our country. Their stories bond them together, and now listeners can join them weekly as they visit with others enduring challenges and who teach us how they are exercising resiliency, finding value in their grief, and purpose in moving forward.
