James Marsden Doesn’t Need to Exist (Into the Grizzly Maze)

Grizzly bears are on the protected species list with only 1,500 still living in the lower 48 states of the US and 31,000 living in Alaska’s great wilderness. So, it makes perfect sense to make a move wherein a grizzly bear is made out to be the bad guy for killing poachers and just doing what a grizzly is known to do--which is protecting its natural habitat. 

This week, Real Horrorshow is wandering into The Grizzly Maze, a 2015 direct-to-streaming horror film starring James Marsden, Piper Perabo, someone from the Vampire Diaries, Bill Bob Thornton...And, of course, the wonderful grizzly bear himself: Bart the Bear. 

 

What a great movie to discuss on Earth Day. Fuck protected species, am I right?
