Starting work in his first commercial kitchen at just 13, Pete Evans’ passion for food quickly evolved into a lifelong career. By 17, he was a full-time chef, and by 19, a restaurateur — opening numerous award-winning restaurants across Australia and cooking in some of the finest establishments around the world.
Pete’s career spans professional kitchens, television, film, publishing, and wellness innovation. He continues to consult on restaurant and wellness projects globally, developing menus and concepts that celebrate nutrition, sustainability, and flavour.
Pete has appeared in numerous television and film projects throughout his career. His acclaimed documentary The Magic Pill — exploring the powerful connection between food and health — continues to stream globally. As one of Australia’s most published contemporary chefs, Pete has written around 25 cookbooks and lifestyle titles, many of which have become national bestsellers. A certified health coach through New York’s Institute of Integrative Nutrition, Pete is passionate about empowering people to take charge of their wellbeing through food and lifestyle choices.

We have the ability to live outside of a corrupted food system, if we choose to, to the best of our ability.
We all have a choice.
It has helped me over the last 5 years express who I am, creatively and it has been a gift in that respect and I have learnt a lot along the way.
Hope looks to the future. It is projecting something that we may not have. What we have is now.
We do not know how things will play out in the future for ourselves or collectively.
My analogy for life is why do we want to know how things end. Stay in that mystery.
Life is the most wonderful adventure. We get to choose how we create it.
I trust that everything is going to be perfect in whatever way it manifests for me.
Simply an invitation to “BE YOU”.
An invitation is allowing that person to have agency or power to accept that invitation with a yes, no or maybe.
An invitation gives me or the person the power to make the choice.
When accept responsibility for our choices and actions then there is no one to blame or we cannot play the victim to the choices that we make.
If not making a choice is making a choice.
