Market Close 1 Feb 2021: ASX overcomes early jitters to rise

The ASX 200 was looking to extend its losing run from last week with the index opening well in the red but managed to turn things around to lift 55.6 points or 0.84%. Silver miners benefitted from interest from Reddit users in the metal.
