Market Close 24 May 22: Aussie stocks slide despite strong lead from Wall St

The Australian sharemarket fell by 0.28%, losing ground for the first time since last Thursday despite a strong lead from Wall Street overnight. With the exception of energy and property trusts, all sectors finished in the red or flat.
