Episode183: How to Make a Hospital Visit

1. Make sure the person wants a visit
2. Check with the hospital about visit protocols - gown up and follow if requested
3. Introduce yourself to other family members
4. Don’t stay too long. 10 minutes is plenty unless you are waiting with the family during a surgery
5. Never sit on the bed
6. Pray with the person and family before you leave
7. leave a note if they are sleeping - don't wake them up
8. Leave when the doctor comes in
