Food to Power - May 25, 2023 - The Extra with Shannon Brinias

On Thursday's "The Extra", the group Food to Power joined host Shannon Brinias. Food to Power is a grassroots food justice nonprofit focusing on creating an equitable food system in Colorado Springs. This looks like creating better access to fresh, nutritious food, educational opportunities to learn more about ways to work with food, an urban farm in the heart of the Hillside neighborhood, turning food scraps into compost, advocacy around food policies, and more.  The group's Hillside Hub is also host a 1st Birthday Bash on June 3rd.  More information at foodtopowerco.org.
