I recently read in a book that “our Lord’s sacrifice was so massive in its scope and magnitude” that it could not have been sufficiently demonstrated by just one sacrifice! We must get a hold of Who this Man is! II Corinthians 10:5 instructs us to cast down our vain reasonings which we have exalted against the knowledge that God and Our Lord have, and bring our thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ. We ought daily, moment by moment, consider Him – what did He think? What did He Know? What did He believe? And then bring our thoughts captive to His obedience – He went to the cross.
