Jan 4 – 2 Corinthians – Pt 14– Sowing Generosity

Welcome once again and Happy New Year! Today’s text reminds the Corinthians of their initial enthusiasm for the Jerusalem collection and of their delight that God could use them to help other believers. Their enthusiasm was contagious. But a year has passed and Paul was worried that the Corinthians would give grudgingly now as their enthusiasm waned. Why does God want us to be cheerful givers and enthusiastic team players and not selfish and disgruntled givers? Great question—let’s find out the answer to that and more.
