Morning Report 7 Apr 21: US sharemarkets eased on Tuesday

Traders re-assessed the strength of recent gains. Economic data supported equity prices. Shares in Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings rose by 4.6% after it said it would begin sailing outside the United States from the Caribbean and Greek Isles in July. The Dow Jones index fell by 97 points or 0.3% from record highs. The S&P 500 index fell by 0.1% from record highs. And the Nasdaq index fell by 7 points or 0.1%.
