This week on Open Sources Guelph, we've got back-to-back candidate interviews with two of the more interesting characters of the current election campaign. In the first half of the show we're going to try again with Christian Heritage Party candidate Gordon Truscott, and then we will have in studio the People's Party candidate Mark Paralovos.
This Thursday, October 3, at 5 pm, Scotty Hertz and Adam A. Donaldson will discuss:
Gordon County. Second time's the charm. Christian Heritage Party candidate Gordon Truscott will almost definitely be joining us this week to talk about his candidacy, and his unique mix of faith and politics. Truscott got a boost thanks to the humour and humility he showed at the social justice debate, but we'll try and get into the weeds with Truscott about his party's platform, appealing to people of different faiths or no faith, and what morality means in modern politics.
Rhymes with "For all of us." There's perhaps no more controversial party in this election than the People's Party lead by Maxime Bernier, and Guelph's candidate, Mark Paralovos, has not been able to escape its shadow. Just one day after a debate at the University of Guelph was cancelled for refusing to include Paralovos and the PPC, we'll talk to the candidate about the controversy, why he thinks his party's labelled as racist, and how he's trying to deliver the People's Party message to Guelph.
Open Sources is live on CFRU 93.3 fm and cfru.ca at 5 pm on Thursday.
