James | Chapter 5:19-20 Pt. I (Covering in Love; not Exposing Another’s Sin)

Episode 834 ~ Jesus didn't beat down everybody. We did that, the woman kind of adultery said. A perfect example. He addressed the cost, but he didn't expose it. There's a difference between the two. You can still dress them but not expose them. But people think that to address, you have to expose them; and, embarrass and shame the person that is committing the sin. He did not. He protected her dignity. And, gave her a chance for restoration and reconciliation and to have a new life. He gave her a chance to come away from that sin and not be burdened or shackled with the stigma of how people think about it; the stereotypes or the embarrassment of it. Jesus covered her; while also instructing her to go and sin no more, because it's not good for you. He still loved her; but, He didn't put her out there to be exposed, or let everybody beat up on her, and brutalize her.
