VA8, Ep. 3 The Medicine Wheel; our connection to the four directions and the Hoop of Life

We explore an intense feeling of presence, joy and love that I experienced in a premonitory dream, revealing hope for the future and the eternal renewal of life.

The Medicine Wheel will reveal its power as we advance throughout its axis and spokes, and I provide some of my research findings.

We are led back to the Medicine Wheel by Eagle/Walking Turtle's wisdom about the Indians of the Great Plains, contained in his book, Indian America. We are led to honor Mother Earth, Sister Turtle and Brother Frog, the 4th, 5th and 6th stations in the Great Hoop.

The concept of approaching issues and life's problems by dividing them into fours, exemplified by the quarters of the Wheel, provides a tool for us all to contemplate the many sides of any issue, and the revelatory position that allows us to reconcile what seem like opposing forces or ideas.
