Do you Believe? _ Why the Cross?

16 Thus he shall make atonement for the Holy Place, because of the uncleannesses of the people of Israel and because of their transgressions, all their sins. Leviticus 16:16.

The Cross of Christ is the central point of history. But why? Why the cross? In this sermon we'll look to the Old Testament forshadowing of the cross in the Day of Atonement.
