This episode explores what Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is (and is not) and Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder (OCPD). Someone with OCD experiences significant anxiety and dysfunction, whereas someone with OCPD is rarely distressed by their behaviors, having limited awareness of how these behaviors impact others. Other than the “O,” “C,” and a “D,” these two disorders actually have very little in common.
