I recently shared a video on the Christianity Now Facebook page where a person is simply showing some verses of the Bible. The point of the short video is that when one verse seemingly teaches one thing a simple reading of the context might show that a totally different thing is being taught. take a listen as I share some of my thoughts about this issue of taking verses out of context and using them as "sugar sticks" as opposed to inducing the preponderance of evidence from Scripture to teach what God intended to be taught.
