Episode # 1662 – Holy Thursday 2017

Today is Holy Thursday during this Holy Week leading up to Good Friday tomorrow and the goodness starts early with Tony’s Birthday being discussed, as well as pointing out other birthdays in April, such as Producer Armand, with Father Anthony and everyone in good feelings today, possibly with birthdays in mind, as well as many, many things going on this week, with Passover that was this week too.  But with much work to do for Holy Week this year, Father Anthony has much to discuss.  With the Holy Triduum in mind this week, Father Anthony shares thoughts on that with Tony and Christina, as well as everyone.  With all this in mind, Father Anthony once again brings up the Spiritual Battle that he has talked about many times before, pointing out how we are so divided these days, not just in the world itself with many tragic and controversial events, but also in terms of our individual lives and families.  Today and for Good Friday too, the breaks are musical chants inspired for today and tomorrow as well, so a little different with special music.  After the first, Father Anthony talks about the history behind these three days, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday.  Also, more good news as Gerri joins the show later on too.  With the joyous music playing for the breaks today, Father Anthony reminds us of the joy that is coming with these three special days.  It also brings to mind Judas Iscariot, and his historical background and other historical figures that were with Jesus during this time.
