Monday Market Highlights: 25 March 2024

In this week’s Monday Market Highlights Investment Analyst Jerram Lindsay discusses last week’s FOMC meeting, with the 2024 median dot plot unchanged. This coincided with the release of the March Flash PMIs, which continued to show expansion in both US manufacturing and services activity. Jerram also covers the Bank of Japan lifting rates for the first time in 17 years, and the RBA maintaining its cash rate. In equity news, he raises NVIDIA’s annual AI conference, GTC, where it announced its new Blackwell family of GPUs. He also discusses Boeing’s stock price being under pressure, and Apple’s lawsuit.
