Outside The Chute sits down and talks to Lismore, Australia native, and one of the best to ever play the game of fastpitch, Nick Shailes. Shailsy has a list of accomplishments that would take forever to mention but some key ones would include a 5 time ISC World Champion, ISF Men’s World Champion with Australia in 2009 and Canadian Senior Men’s Championship in 2017. He’s also a 10-time All-World Team player at the ISC’s along with 3 MVP awards. In 2015 he was voted best player in the world by his peers.

Nick now lives in Ontario with his wife Gen, who is expecting very soon, and son Lennox.

We’re gonna talk to Nick about growing up in Australia, his time with the Aussie National Team, winning numerous ISC titles, as well as his successful company, Lumberjack Sports.
