Like a roller coaster, life can be full of ups and downs.
We can be enjoying the heights of a mountain top experience, when suddenly the bottom falls out, and we find our self in a dark valley of difficulty, and just as we are coming out of that, it repeats all over again.

If you have ever experienced the ups and downs of life, you are not alone. David was very familiar with the roller coaster of life, as reflected in the experiences he shares in Ps 30:1-12. His main point throughout the Psalm reminds us that trials are temporary but they cannot defeat us if we will remain faithful to God. He will bring us through them all.
