James Meyers, III examines the first trial of Christ which was before the Jewish authorities. This was a peculiar affair filled with scandall and subterfuge, exacerbated by political expediency. James considers this and how what seems quite incredulous, namely, putting to death the perfect Man, is altogether natural for fallen mankind. It is his position that if Christ came incarnate today, rather than 2,000 years ago, He would suffer the same fate.
