About Darren L. James
Darren L. James is President of KAI Enterprises, overseeing marketing and sales strategies for its four companies. As the inaugural President of Fair Park First, he developed a 20-year Master Plan and led a capital campaign. Darren chairs the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, assisting over 200 Black businesses in securing $5M in PPP funds during the COVID pandemic. He serves on numerous boards, including the Dallas Citizens Council and Real Estate Council, and was appointed to the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners. A celebrated architect and leader, Darren was elevated to the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows in 2019.
