The Joe Mangiacotti Show on WCRN 830 AM
Good morning, my friends. You’re tuned in to The Joe Mangiacotti Show—common sense conversation for the common sense citizen, right here on AM 830 WCRN, broadcasting from the center of the dial, the center of New England, and the center of information.
We’ve got a full docket this morning, and I want to start by reminding you that the Constitution still matters. Law and order still matter. And if common sense has anything to say about it—we're not done fighting for either.
Let’s start with some good news—yes, that still exists. The U.S. Supreme Court has just lifted Judge Boasberg’s order blocking the Trump administration from deporting suspected members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua—under the Alien Enemies Act. That's right. In a 5-4 ruling, the high court said, “Enough. You want to challenge this? Take it to the right court—in Texas—where these people are actually being detained.” Imagine that… venue actually matters!
Now look, folks, this isn’t some obscure procedural win—this is the Court reinforcing a basic truth: national security is not a political football. President Trump invoked a wartime statute from 1798 to respond to what he rightly called an “incursion” by these violent gang elements. And I don't know about you, but I’d rather see gang members heading for CECOT in El Salvador than roaming free on our streets.
Now, I hear the cries from the left, “Oh, this is unprecedented,” “This is dangerous.” Justice Sotomayor says it’s an “extraordinary threat to the rule of law.” Really? You mean protecting citizens from violent criminal gangs is now a “threat to the rule of law”? Friends, if the rule of law doesn’t protect the innocent and punish the guilty, it’s not law—it’s tyranny.
And speaking of tyranny, let’s talk about what happened at Grace Baptist Church in Connecticut. Representative Jasmine Crockett—yes, her again—had the gall to say, and I quote, “We done picking cotton.” She was trying to justify illegal immigration—saying we need people to do farm work Americans won’t do.
Now hold on. Let’s unpack this.
First off, this is deeply offensive on so many levels. She essentially said that illegal immigrants are here to be our modern-day slaves—our “cotton pickers.” That’s not only racially charged—it’s morally bankrupt. We don’t need illegal immigration to run our economy. We need lawful immigration that respects our borders and our laws.
And let’s not kid ourselves. The folks we’re deporting under the Alien Enemies Act aren’t harvesting crops—they’re trafficking humans, pushing fentanyl, and terrorizing communities. Jasmine Crockett is not just wrong—she’s dangerously out of touch.
And here's where the conversation gets darker—because the rhetoric on the Left isn’t just clueless—it’s becoming violent. A new report from the Network Contagion Research Institute and Rutgers University shows an alarming trend: nearly half of self-described liberals think political violence—yes, assassination—against President Trump or Elon Musk is at least “somewhat justified.”
Let that sink in.
We’re not talking about disagreeing on tax policy here. We're talking about people—tens of thousands—saying it’s okay to kill a political opponent. This isn't “tolerance.” This isn’t “equity.” This is flat-out fascism, dressed up in woke clothing.
And yet the same media that freaks out when someone questions a voting machine is silent—dead silent—when actual, credible threats of violence are normalized by the Left. Remember when Republicans were mocked for calling out political violence? Well, turns out we were right. And now, we’re watching it unfold in real time.
And just when you think the temperature couldn't rise any higher—we’ve got the Biden administration’s silence. Deafening. Not a word about the survey. Not a word about the assassination rhetoric. Nothing but a wink and a nod. Because let’s face it—they benefit from the chaos.
And speaking of chaos, this administration’s border policies continue to flood our nation with people we cannot vet, cannot house, and cannot afford. And yet, when Trump tries to take legal action to secure the nation, the Left loses its collective mind.
But the American people are watching. They know this isn’t about immigration or farming or “diversity.” It’s about control. It's about growing a permanent underclass that votes blue and doesn’t ask questions. It’s about silencing the opposition—whether through censorship or, God forbid, worse.
Let me make this clear: We are not a nation founded on mob rule. We are not a country that normalizes political violence. And we’re not going to surrender the Constitution to people who think borders are optional and speech is violence—but violence is speech.
My friends, the stakes are high. The truth is under attack. And your voice—your common sense voice—is more important than ever.
We’re going to take a break, but when we come back, I’ll take your calls. I want to hear from you—what do you think about Crockett’s comments? The Supreme Court ruling? The assassination culture creeping into the Left?
This is The Joe Mangiacotti Show—don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back.
