Sally McKay ran her family's business with the help of her nephew Joseph Lee Baker until one day the two were murdered and Sally's home was set on fire in an attempt to hide a burglary. Police arrested 16 year old Travis Lewis for the crimes. While in prison, Sally's daughter Martha McKay befriended Travis and wanted to forgive him while leading him towards a better life. While out on parole, Travis worked for Martha until he began stealing again. Shockingly, Travis would end up doing exactly what he did to Sally and Lee to Martha 23 years later.
