Mid-Session 1 Nov 2021: Market lifts despite Westpac tumble

The Australian sharemarket is lifting by ~0.5% on Monday, with 10 of 11 sectors in positive territory. Westpac (WBC) is down 6%, the main weight on the market and the worst performer on the ASX 200 after handing down its full year results.
