How do you practice acceptance in your relationships?
Here I share an important best practice that allows you to have healthy relationships without needing to change or fix another person; rather the impetus is on you giving to yourself what you have been looking for in another. This means that you no longer need to hold expectations of another that they cannot meet.
Acceptance is the understanding; the ability and need to allow another to be as they are; to soften into this and to meet them right where they are choosing to be. This doesn’t mean that you must have a relationship with this person or any other; rather it means that you no longer give so much of yourself in vain.
Acceptance is liberation. It frees you. You free yourself from the need to change another or a situation when your kind efforts have been in vain. Not everyone is ready. Not everyone is willing. Not everyone is able to be relieved from the thoughts that hold them back.
