As a newbie trusting your intuition and building discernment it can lead you down some interesting paths. One minute you think you've found a safe space the next the illusion breaks and you realize just because they are "Spiritual" doesn't mean they are safe. 

We are starting the series off with my platonic soulmate Teagan! 

Sharing her healing journey and the battle in trusting others to help her instead of spiritually manipulating her. Ultimately these experiences have led her back to her own power and connection to Spirit, Source, Creator, God (whatever you call the unconditional source of all creation!)

I will be sharing updates on my journey, disillusionments in the spiritual community as both of us share red flags in choosing someone to work with and how to exit safely when your intuition is screaming at you to leave a place you want to believe is safe.

Along your journey comes the building of Intuition & Discernment. IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MANY CERTIFICATIONS THEY HAVE OR HOW LONG THEY'VE BEEN "AWAKE." If your gut says no listen to it. They could easily be caught up in a "Spiritual Ego" or even worse a "Spiritual Psychosis."  I tell you these from observing the spiritual community for 5 years and diving down the rabbit hole.
