They get real about the horrors of being on the receiving end of a singing telegram, cutting bangs in the aftermath of grief, Phillip DeBrassiere vs. Purple Pieman, Band-Aid babies, processing loss as a kid, and moving out of your childhood home ... but not before gushing all over Bette Midler, singing incorrect song lyrics, and putting the whole "beaches" thing together.
