UNMG Change Labs: 3pm Pitches for Workshops

Conveners of four workshops make their pitches to attendees, at 3pm, hoping that participants will come to their session during the Change Labs Native Business and Marketing sessions that took place on October 2, 2015, on the UNM-Gallup

campus.

With an unemployment rate reportedly as high as 60%, the Navajo Nation was deemed the last frontier for entrepreneurship by The Economist in 2008. Despite a skilled and ready workforce,

a wealth of business opportunities, many new businesses fail to register or sustain. At Change Labs they explore how Native American Entrepreneurs can overcome these barriers, new ways

to tackle these challenges in similar environments around the globe, and connect promising entrepreneurs with the mentors and resources they need to succeed.
