Should we follow the UK and pay people who test positive for COVID?

First up Matt Hancock has announced that workers on who are forced to self-isolate will be given £500 to help them do so.The payment will be made to anyone who cannot work because they have tested positive for coronavirus. Is this a a good initiative for Ireland to adopt?
