Interview Clune MEP on increased EU Health cooperation

MEPs voted this week to strengthen the EU’s capacity to prevent and control communicable diseases and tackle cross-border health threats.

Fine Gael MEP Deidre Clune says EU countries need to cooperate much more when it comes to improving the bloc’s capacity to deal with major health issues such as the Covid pandemic.

Karen Coleman (EuroParlRadio) met Deirdre Clune in the European Parliament in Strasbourg and talked to her about the need for much more cross-border cooperation between EU countries on health.
