Market Close 11 ASX rallies late to close near session highs

The Australian sharemarket has jumped on the close after a mostly lacklustre trading day on Wednesday. It was looking to be a rather flat close but the ASX 200 spiked in the match to end the day 24 points or 0.36% higher at 6638. The banks and miners provided the most support while supermarket giant Woolies was one of the main weights
