124 \\ Teach Your Child THIS ONE THING And Help Them STAND UP Against Today’s Cultural Lies and Stand Strong in Their Beliefs

I know we all want to just have that ONE thing we can teach our children that we know will help them be brave in today's world, stand up for what they believe, and fight back against the cultural lies the world will try to tell them. I also know there isn't just ONE thing, but there are some lessons we can focus on that will set them up for success and equip our toddlers to teens with skills that make them ready to face this world and the scary stuff in it. One of those lessons comes when we talk to our kids about delayed gratification versus immediate gratification. Have you looked at this subject lately?

There's headlines and trendy fads and music and you tube videos and all kinds of things that want to tell our children that quick pleasure is worth giving up self discipline or self control or so many other good fruits that our children will need to survive this world and courageously stand up for the values God wants them to live by. It's a lot to talk about but you are leaving with easy tools and conversation starters.
