Janism – An Ancient Religion

Our June podcast explores the little known religion of Jainism.  This faith tradition is active mainly in India yet there is an active community in the Sacramento area.  The faith is based on non-violence and doing no harm in all actions – even to the level of wearing a mask to not ingest flying insects.

We look at the Jain approach to forgiveness, to reincarnation, to rituals, to love and marriage, and many other areas.  Join Rev Dave and Rachel Lyman as they explore a faith tradition that is fascinating and austere in its approach to living.
