Daenerys II : The Khal Takes A Wife, The Wife Stands Alone

Episode 5 : Daenerys II (AGOT chapter 11)

 

This week Court and Mike follow Dany as she prepares herself to be wed to Khal Drogo. A heated dinner takes place the night before the wedding, where everyone makes decisions for her without asking.

The next day the most elaborate wedding this side of The Narrow Sea takes place. Forty thousand deep, the Dothraki come to Pentos to put on the event of a lifetime. After the gifts are presented, Drogo decides it's time for his own gift and provides Dany with the wind. Immediately following this act, Viserys brings her crashing back to the reality of the day. She is in danger, and no can save her.
