Today’s first number is the epic-and-yet sprightly, folky “Humanity Hunkering Home”, a positive spin on the Coronavirus quarantine featuring a fine lyric and energized ukulele from Mariam. “Spring Is Still Coming On” takes a turn for the mystical, and is an evocative and deeply felt paean to the change of seasons driven by Robin and Craig’s powerful rhythm section. “Goddess, Goddess” is a classic from Mariam, here given a flowing and reverent treatment with beautiful vocal interplay between Robin and Mariam and imaginative piano from Bob. “Sing Down The Walls” is a folk anthem from Mariam, and “Restore” is another Mariam song, here given a stately and evocative treatment as befits this beautiful environmental anthem.
