Episode # 946 - Father Anthony Returns

As the title of today's show says, Father Anthony is back from his trip celebrating his Mother's 80th Birthday with his family and Christina reminds us much going on, such as Tony being away on vacation in California and the latest news about Germany's team in the World Cup going on, Germany being the winners this year.  With Father Anthony gone, Producer Nick and Christina talk about how things went with his absence and today is the Feast of St Kateri Tekakwitha, leading to discuss her and influence on the Church.  Father Anthony also talks about his trip, coming back for one thing being rough arriving during Rush Hour here in Chicago and one of the roughest times to arrive/travel.  Back to the Feast of St. Kateri Tekakwitha, Father Anthony shares history about this woman, being very influential as well as interesting, providing some very good facts about her and what she did and the work she did/conducted in her lifetime and being a Native American, as well as things blamed during her time, such as the bringing of Smallpox by the Catholics brought over.  With all this history, Father Anthony raises the bar on this discussion on today, with people being unable to make it to Church or not feeling Holy lately.
