Happy Hour Special #9 - Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Donkey Kong Country

Television at its finest? This week Raven and Campbell surprise each other with vampire slayers and victimized simians. Together they talk about narrative parallels, motion capture animation, and give an emotion filled rendition of the “DK Rap” while discussing Once More, With Feeling - Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Kong for a Day - Donkey Kong Country.

Devil’s Kiss Recipe:

- 1.5 oz vodka

- 1.5 oz Campari

- 0.75 oz Grenadine

- 0.75 oz fresh orange juice

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a tumbler with ice. Garnish with an orange twist.

 

Congo Bongo Punch Recipe:

- 1 cup orange juice

- 2 cups pineapple cranberry juice (or 1 cup of each)

- 4 oz dark rum

- 4 oz white rum

- 2 oz amaretto

- 1 oz banana liqueur

- pineapple slices

Combine all ingredients in a bowl/barrel with ice and stir to combine.
